| Abstract: | RESUMO O presente relato de experiência tem como objetivo descrever e analisar a participação de estudantes da Escola Imaculado Coração de Maria, localizada no município de Santa Helena – MA, nos Jogos Escolares Helenenses nas edições de 2024 e 2025. A vivência ocorreu com os anos iniciais e finais do Ensino Fundamental e marcou o primeiro contato direto que tive com a organização e orientação de uma equipe escolar em ambiente competitivo. A experiência trouxe consigo desafios no que diz respeito às habilidades motoras, capacidades físicas e competências socioemocionais dos estudantes. Diante disso, foram adotadas estratégias pedagógicas que articularam conteúdos técnicos e valores humanos, fundamentadas nos princípios da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). As intervenções realizadas durante os treinos e aulas de Educação Física permitiram não apenas a preparação para os jogos, mas também a construção de uma cultura esportiva escolar orientada pelo desenvolvimento integral. Ao final da experiência, é possível notar o amadurecimento enquanto docente e também dos discentes, destacando o papel da Educação Física como espaço privilegiado para a formação de sujeitos críticos, solidários e conscientes de seu papel social. |
| Description: | ABSTRACT This experience report aims to describe and analyze the participation of students from the Immaculate Heart of Mary School, located in the municipality of Santa Helena – MA, in the Helenense School Games in the 2024 and 2025 editions. The experience took place with both the initial and final years of Elementary Education and marked my first direct contact with the organization and guidance of a school team in a competitive environment. The experience brought with it challenges regarding the motor skills, physical abilities, and socio-emotional competencies of the students. In light of this, pedagogical strategies were adopted that articulated technical content and human values, grounded in the principles of the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC). The interventions carried out during the training sessions and Physical Education classes allowed not only for preparation for the games but also for the construction of a school sports culture guided by holistic development. At the end of the experience, it is possible to notice the maturity of both the teachers and the students, highlighting the role of Physical Education as a privileged space for the training of critical, supportive individuals who are aware of their social role. |
